HALF a year after Triumph Motorcycles appointed it as the Malaysian distributor, Didi Group recently officiated its Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia new flagship store in Petaling Jaya.
The company, which is undoubtedly Malaysia’s leading distributor of premium two-wheelers, also announced that Goh Brothers Motorcycles Sdn Bhd has been appointed as the official dealer for Triumph Motorcycles in Malaysia.
Didi Group is the sole distributor and importer for several international (motorcycle) brands including Triumph Motorcycles. Other than in Malaysia, it is represented in Singapore, Hong Kong and Myanmar.
Triumph Motorcycles Ltd United Kingdom chief commercial officer Paul Stroud yesterday said: “We are delighted to be launching three all new state of the art Triumph Motorcycle stores within the Malaysian market, and would like to thank Didi Automotive for their significant investment in the Triumph brand. We are very much looking forward to our partnership with Didi within Malaysia, and to creating the opportunity for many more motorcycle fans to experience Triumph, and join our family of loyal fans across the world.”
He was referring to Triumph Motorcycle showrooms in Batu Caves, Selangor on 12th June 2023 and Juru, Pulau Pinang on 14th June 2023.
Didi Group chairman Rewi Hamid Bugo yesterday said the company is thrilled to inaugurate the flagship store, which promises to be a hub of excitement and adventure. “And tomorrow, we eagerly anticipate the opening of the Triumph Motorcycles Penang showroom, further expanding our reach and presence in Malaysia.”
At the event yesterday, Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia also announced the release of the Triumph Street Triple 765 line-up. This new range represents “the most powerful and poised Street Triple models ever created, delivering an unrivaled riding experience for enthusiasts”.
“It introduces significant updates, establishing the Street Triple R as the definitive new streetfighter. It showcases a major upgrade, setting a new benchmark for performance in the naked sports category.
